Feedback/Revisions

After presenting our projects to our classmates, there was the opportunity of giving feedback on what one could improve to make their project more realistic and professional. The revisions I decided to improve were:

• Limit white space
• Change the text colors in the Cover & Table of Contents
• Increase the font size in some texts
• Include a wider variety of pictures in the Two-Page Article
• Include page numbers

In the final Mid-term submission I was missing page numbers that went in accordance with the Magazine cover (only if the article were to be advertised in the cover) and in the Table of Contents, which included the Title of the article and the page number it should be place based on the 90 page template.

For the picture variety and the productive use of white space, scheduling another photo shoot with the interviewee will be necessary. Taking different shots in different places and with different outfits would be the ultimate goal.
Effective use of all blank space is a necessary component that shows technique and strategy. As a publisher it is essential to make use of all the space provided in each page of the magazine, every space that is not being used is money being misspent. One has to keep in mind that the publisher is paying for every text printed, every color used, every photograph and every advertise placed in the magazine.
