Out of their thousands of genres their products, Shape (one of their magazines), has a similar target audience and similar articles of which my magazine would include. They target women that are looking for fitness, healthy eating, weight loss, beauty, lifestyles and celebrities and include highly informative articles of such.

Health Magazine also ran by Meredith Corporation, was first founded in 1981. Due to being part of Meredith Corporation, like mentioned previously, its distribution method is in fact similar to the one of Shape magazine. Meredith Corp. follows the common type of intensive distribution method where it collaborates with multiple diverse agencies that distribute its print all over the country. For example, using publishers, wholesalers, distribution networks, sales or returns, subscriptions, ezines, apps, electronic branding and websites.

Distribution Plan
In order for a product to reach far and wide success, the right distribution model needs to be followed. Distribution strategies are mainly decided by keeping the head management in consideration at all times, due to such controlling the overall operations of the company. The standard distribution strategies have to consider three key points:
Models that would most likely be used: #1 & #3
- How to get the product from the manufacturing point to the end customer.
- How to control costs and save time while executing the distribution strategy
- How to build a competitive advantage through distribution
Therefore, starting from a broad level my product would go through direct distribution. With such model the company either directly sends the product to the end consumer or when the distributing chain is not as long, an example would be a company selling through modern retail. Furthermore, distribution levels also depend on the type of impact the company wants to create with its products "Penetration Level". This level of penetration is a scale the is based of 3 "P's" Product, Price and Promotions, from which companies base themselves to go into a more specific distribution model. Based off of this, the more specific model that I would use would be intensive distribution which is distribution on a large-scale and display of the product in as many ways and places as possible so that the customer sells in high volume. Due to the large amount that composes my target audience my product has to be available for everyone and couldn't fall under a selective (private) distribution model.
Models that would most likely be used: #1 & #3
